Piano Fun For Beginners

Has your child expressed an interest in learning piano?

This one-week, half-day camp gives kids a joy-filled, immersive introduction to the instrument!

DESCRIPTION:

Piano Fun For Beginners is offered in small groups of no more than 6-8 children, and each child plays on a full sized digital piano. Each day we will play fun music and movement games, learn easy beginning songs on the piano, do worksheets and crafts, and enjoy a healthy snack. On Friday, parents and siblings are invited to a 30-minute celebration performance. You’ll be amazed at what your child will be able to do after just one week!

LOCATION:

Camps are held at Piano For Pleasure, a group piano classroom located in the Art Works Building of BOTTLE WORKS in the Cambria City neighborhood of Johnstown.

DATES AND TIMES:

Our 2019 Camp will run Monday-Friday, August 5-9 and is offered mornings or afternoons based on school grade for Fall 2018.

9:30 – 11:30 AM, Grades: entering K – 1st (enrollment limited to 6)

1:00 – 3:30 PM, Grades: entering 2nd – 4th (enrollment limited to 8)

REGISTRATION INFORMATION: 

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and is limited to 6 children in the morning camp, and 8 children in the afternoon camp. The $100 fee includes all music materials and craft supplies, links to online recordings and videos, and snacks. Payments may be made online or by check payable and mailed to Laura Williamson, 172 Country Side Lane, Johnstown, PA 15904.
